Bitget, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges in the industry, has announced the launch of its first-ever graduate program aimed at recruiting and developing top talents from prestigious universities worldwide.
The Bitget Graduate Program was unveiled on Monday, February 17. The company said that is part of its broader Blockchain4Youth Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative introduced with the goal of promoting education, innovation, and long-term growth within the blockchain ecosystem.
Bitget launched the CSR initiative in May 2023 as part of its mission of promoting crypto adoption. According to the company, the program will initially focus on offering blockchain courses and certifications through its Bitget Academy before expanding to hosting campus lectures with partner universities across several continents including Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, and North America.
After nearly two years of debuting the CSR program, Bitget has expanded the scope of the initiative with the new Graduate Program. The program is tailored to attract high-achieving graduates with a global perspective, a deep interest in blockchain technology, and a drive for innovation.
According to the company, participants will be offered career opportunities across multiple fields, including operations, product management, marketing, risk & compliance, data management, and engineering.
Commenting on the new initiative, the exchange’s chief operating officer Vugar Usi Zade said the move provides opportunities for young talents to immerse themselves into the world of the crypto economy.
“At Bitget, we believe the future of Web3 lies in the hands of the next generation. The Graduate Program is designed to bridge the gap between ambition and opportunity, providing young professionals with a direct pathway to immerse themselves in the blockchain industry,” he said.
The launch of the graduate program comes as Bitget continues to strengthen its presence in the crypto industry. In January, Bitget became the first exchange to roll out copy trading on gold and FX, allowing users to replicate professional traders’ strategies within their MetaTrader 5 (MT5) accounts using USDT USDT $1.00 24h volatility: 0.1% Market cap: $142.50 B Vol. 24h: $37.41 B as collateral.
Just last week, the company secured an operational license in Bulgaria, officially registering as a Virtual Assets Service Provider (VASP) in the country. Coinspeaker reported that the company has also chosen Bulgaria as its official base for European expansion.
The move aligns with the company’s efforts to comply with the Markets-in-Crypto-Assets (MiCA) legislation, the landmark regulatory framework shaping the EU’s crypto industry.
Bitget also maintains a strong presence in other European markets, including Italy and Poland, while operating in the United Kingdom and the United States in compliance with local regulations.
Additionally, in October last year, Bitget expanded its decentralized finance (DeFi) offerings with the introduction of liquid restaking services for Solana (SOL). This feature allows users to earn passive rewards from their holdings while contributing to the network’s security.
